Memories of a Warmer Summer

We had a great road trip this summer.  We drove out to Vancouver, down to Seattle, through Spokane, Coeur D'Alene, and then back up through Fernie.
In the middle of this looong winter, these pictures seem like they're from another planet!

The first leg of our trip, we were travelling with mom & dad, communicating with walkie talkies.

At one point, my parents radioed us to suggest an ice-cream stop.
Caitlyn was appalled, and said, "Don't they know we just had ice cream yesterday!"
My parents now feel that their granddaughters haven't been taught that the only way to road trip is with ice cream stops at least daily!
